The Grace of God and the Law of God

The Law of God has been become a dirty subject in many of our churches. For example, if a person attempts to keep the Sabbath, that person can be called a legalist. In other words, a person who is attempting to keep the Sabbath is sinning.

Does this mean that a person also sins by attempting to not steal, not commit adultery, and not take God's name in vain? Or does this mean that there are only nine commandments, or perhaps a new commandment has replaced #4 stating, "You shall do everyting that you can to not keep the Sabbath holy, and while doing so make sure that your neighbor is strongly encouraged to not keep the Sabbath as well."

Jesus made an interesting statement in Matthew 5:19: " Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven."

Communion This Sabbath

This coming Sabbath will be a communion Sabbath for Covenant Family Fellowship. We will also be continuing our study of the law of God and its original intent.
